Pardon My Pancreas - Type 1 Diabetes with Matt Vande Vegte

A Heart to Heart with my Type 1 Diabetes (Obsession vs Burnout)

FTF Warrior Season 5 Episode 50

I remained 100% Time In Range for 7 Days straight… And honestly - it had a negative effect on my mental health by day 7.

I was constantly checking my numbers.

The moment I woke up I checked my numbers…

The moment I ate…

The moment I started working…

(Like I was LITERALLY checking my blood sugar levels every 30 minutes, constantly fearing I might not hit the target.)

Admittedly, it required a TON of effort and mental strain.‌

But, this entire experience not only taught me how to have an extremely good time-in-range, but also taught me how to achieve it -- without burning out.

(I mean, If we’re going to have a great time-in-range, we might as well enjoy our lives at the same time, right?)

What I discovered was mind-bending…

And I share this in today’s podcast.

So if you’d like to listen and learn everything I discovered about the mental game of achieving a 100% time-in-range…

…And how YOU too can achieve a high time-in-range WITHOUT burning out…
